Hi, I’m Mia Wexford, an IT security professional based in Australia, specialising in VPN development, digital privacy, and network protection. I graduated from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), where I gained a strong foundation in IT systems and cybersecurity. Since then, I’ve spent over fifteen years applying that knowledge to real-world challenges, helping businesses and individuals stay secure online.

My journey in IT security has included:

• 2008–2012: Network Administrator and Security Analyst at a leading Australian telecommunications company, where I gained hands-on experience with ISP operations, data management, and large-scale network security.

• 2012–2016: IT Security Consultant for small and medium businesses across Melbourne, implementing tailored security solutions, performing vulnerability assessments, and training teams in cybersecurity best practices.

• 2016–Present: Independent Security Consultant and Educator, specialising in VPN technologies and privacy solutions for individuals and families. I provide consultations, conduct security audits, create educational content, and research emerging threats to help users protect their digital lives.

Beyond technical work, I’m actively involved in privacy advocacy in Australia. I’ve contributed to public consultations on data retention laws, participated in cybersecurity forums, and collaborated with organisations promoting digital rights and secure online practices.

My mission is simple: to make advanced security and online privacy accessible to everyone. I continue to develop and refine VPN and privacy tools that empower users to browse safely, protect their personal data, and navigate the internet with confidence.
